While studying e-commerce at Wuhan University back in 2010, Qishen began teaching himself computer science. After getting his master’s degree from the University of Tokyo, he began participating in Kaggle—computer vision and natural language processing competitions, mostly—which got him a total of 6 gold medals.

Qishen Ha currently works at H20.ai, a leading AI cloud company, and previously worked at LINE Corporation, a social platform with hundreds of millions of users worldwide. To relax, Qishen enjoys taking photographs and competing on Kaggle.

As a Z by HP Global Data Science Ambassador, Qishen's content is sponsored and he was provided with HP products.

"Up the mountain of books, there is a path of diligence; Across the boundless sea of learning, there is a boat made from hard work"

What can you now do on a Z that you couldn’t do before?

I can debug my code faster.

What is the next thing you want to learn or experiment with on your Z?

I would like to explore implementing more computer vision methods.

What’s your favorite Z feature?

Small body, huge power! I also like the ZBook Studio’s scalability: it’s quiet yet powerful.
